I thought I would take a moment to write this to share how I first fell in love with Scottish Folds and how my journey into breeding began.

 

I never expected two tiny fluff balls to change my life, but Bindi and Prince did exactly that. They were my first Scottish Fold cats, soft, round, impossibly cute and from the moment they curled up in my lap, something special happened. I remember the morning I first picked them up at the airport, they came from a lovely breeder in Victoria all those years ago, they were snuggling together in a warm blanket and just stared at me with their big eyes through the crate window. My heart melted. Bindi’s gentle curiosity and Prince’s regal charm and Fire Red coat made every day feel a little more magical. They are a sibling duo too, and I adopted them together as they were litter mates and I appreciated their bond, they are inseparable, even to this day.

 

They weren’t just adorable; they were loved. Deeply. Their folded ears, sweet expressions, and warm little hearts won my heart. That’s how I fell in love with Scottish Folds, because of two extraordinary cats who turned my home into something fuller, happier, and more complete. 

 

My prefix Bindi Dolls is inspired by my first cats, especially my beloved Miss Bindi, who sparked my love for Scottish Folds. Bindi is also an unusual, special colour, Blue Silver tortie mackerel. She is a gorgeous Scottish Fold in longhair and has the cutest cream spot on the top of her head.

 

Cats are a part of my family, they live in my home, share my days, and fill my life with companionship. Through years of education, learning, and passionate research, I became a registered breeder so I could bring that same joy into the homes and hearts of others.

 

Breeding isn’t just about putting two cats together, nor is it about quantity. It’s about devotion, responsibility, and dedication to preserving the quality and wellbeing of Pedigreed cats. For me, it’s a commitment to love, ethics, and the future of the breed. All my Cats hold a special place in my heart, from my pet darlings, my Queens and Stud boys and every kitten born in my hands, even after they leave for their forever homes.
